Built in the 17th century, the house "Beim Gschdoaga" is situated in the historic center
of the village, in a quiet location with a mar-
vellous view to the "Wetterstein".
The impressive facade of the house is
graced by the typical kind of art in Mitten-
wald, the "Lüftlmalerei" and shows a
scene of the Bolzano market (one of the
most spectacular events in Mittenwald,
which is still taking place every five years).

The two parks, a large playground, as well
as several starting points to the popular hiking
area Kranzberg, are only 1 - 10 minutes
walk from our house. The next skibus is at
about 300m, the train station at 600m distance.

The opposite museum of lutherie "Geigen-
baumuseum" tells the story of one of Mitten-
walds traditional crafts, the violin making.
